Genesis & Gabe's Elegant Wedding at Ashley Ridge

The style "Elegant Chic" was made for weddings; from the gorgeous attire to the sophisticated styling of colors, these styles of weddings are some of our favorites to see come through our doors. One such wedding brought this look to life at Ashley Ridge by Wedgewood Weddings in Denver, Colorado; Gabe and Genesis celebrated their love surrounded by family and friends and have the most stunning photos to prove it!

Gabe and Genesis made final preparations for their ceremony onsite at Ashley Ridge in their two get-ready suites. Gabe and his groomsmen had a chance to relax, get ready, and even enjoy a game of billiards. The groom finished preparing for the occasion with a black bow tie and a stunning black and silver embroidered suit jacket that complemented the wedding theme.

Down the hall, Genesis and her VIPs made final preparations in their get-ready suite just down the hall. Genesis's ballgown wedding dress was the height of elegance with dropped sleeves, a sweetheart bodice covered in lace, and additional lace embellishments throughout the bottom of her dress and train. With her hair pulled half-up and adorned with her veil and gorgeous purple flowers, she was ready to go for a first look with her beloved.

On the Mountain View Patio, Gabe laid eyes on Genesis for the first time on their wedding day. They took a sweet moment with one another to take in the day before heading back inside for their ceremony.

The couple's indoor ceremony space matched the elegance of their theme with white rose petals lining the aisle, white roses and gardenias on their ceremony arch, and elegant floor-to-ceiling drapery paired with light purple accent lighting. As their wedding party went down the aisle, the grooms sported black tuxedos with matching ties while their bridesmaids wore floor-length black dresses with dropped sleeves. These were paired with white rose boutonnieres and bouquets for a timeless, elegant look. Genesis made her entrance with a gorgeous bouquet of white roses and anemones and a smile that spread from ear to ear.

Ashley Ridge provided the indoor elegant look we sought for our wedding. We also loved the option to have either an indoor or outdoor ceremony since Colorado can be unpredictable.

After the couple said, ‘I do,’ they left their guests to enjoy cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed stationed appetizers consisting of an Array of Fresh Sliced Fruit with Honey Yogurt Dip, our Hummus Duo with Red Pepper and Cilantro Lime with Pita Chips, Pulled Pork Canapes with Pineapple Salsa, Spicy Jamaican Jerk Chicken Skewers, a Variety of Domestic and Imported Cheese with Wafers, and Crispy Mini Vegetable Egg Rolls with Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce. Delicious doesn't even begin to describe these appetizer options! Guests could enjoy cocktail hour indoors or out in the courtyard with lawn games and cozy seating.

Meanwhile, Gabe and Genesis took to the beautiful Colorado summer day to grab some gorgeous photos of them as man and wife. Lush green trees and foliage made for a stunning backdrop while they enjoyed a moment together.

Back at Ashley Ridge, Gabe quickly changed into a traditional black and white Filipino Barong Tagalog before the couple officially entered their reception. Champagne-colored chivari chairs, white floor-length table linens, black cloth napkins, and silver charger plates beautifully complimented their Elegant Chic theme. Additionally, their centerpieces included fresh floral centerpieces with white roses, gardenias, and anemones in glass vases that sat on top of mirrored settings. These decorations were also found at the sweetheart table in front of the floor-to-ceiling reception room window showing stunning views of the Rocky Mountains.

Following welcome speeches by the groom and wedding party, the couple and their guests enjoyed a delicious meal service that consisted of a two-entrée dinner buffet with Oven-Roasted Salmon with Tarragon Butter Sauce, Charred Lemon Chicken Piccata, Three Cheese-Scalloped Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Freshly Baked Rolls. As a part of their Elite Wedding Package, they also had a carving station that included Roasted Prime Rib of Beef Au Jus with Creamed Horseradish. These options are paired with Chardonnay and White Zinfandel wine at guest tables for an unforgettable meal.

We loved our ceremony and everything about it, but dinner was unmatched. Everything was exactly how we imagined, which is amazing because the first time we saw the venue in person was for our rehearsal. We wanted to have a great ballroom space that could accommodate our vision. It also was nice location-wise for family flying from out of town.

The remainder of their reception consisted of the first dance, cake cutting, and fun moments with their guests at the photo booth and on the dance floor. A full day of celebration was closed out by one of our favorite moments, a fountain sparkler send-off. With their guests on either side, Gabe and Genesis officially departed their gorgeous wedding as newlyweds.
