Real Wedding: Jena & Manuel at Lindsay Grove in Mesa, AZ

Real Wedding: Jena & Manuel at Lindsay Grove in Mesa, AZ

Planning a wedding can feel like an overwhelming adventure: endless Google searches, countless checklists, and late nights spent trying to learn the ins and outs of wedding planning. Like many couples, we wanted something beautiful but also budget-friendly, aiming to keep our wedding under $20,000 without sacrificing what mattered most to us.

As an organized person, I dove right in, downloading every wedding checklist and app I could find. I even created a spreadsheet to keep track of venues that fit our price range and signed up for every wedding planning site available. After late nights of research, I had a list of about 35 venues. But as I began contacting them, it quickly became clear that most venues ate up a large chunk of our budget and didn’t include many additional services. The thought of finding individual vendors for everything was overwhelming. We even considered hiring a wedding planner, but the quotes we received nearly matched our entire budget! It felt like our big day was slipping out of reach.

That’s when we found Wedgewood Weddings. They had seven venues near us in Phoenix, AZ, so I did some research on their website. It was super informative, providing a clear breakdown of their pricing packages, which all fit within our budget. Excited, I showed the options to my fiancé, and we both agreed they were promising.

Scheduling appointments to visit the venues was easy, and the teams confirmed everything with friendly texts. Every venue we visited was stunning, each with its own unique charm. However, when we arrived at Lindsay Grove in Mesa, we immediately knew that it was the one for us. The vintage elegance, the beautiful architectural grand hall, and the lush outdoor space with classic white and black elements - it had everything we had imagined. It was romantic and grand, with plenty of room, including an indoor and outdoor bar, for the celebration my fiancé had always imagined.

Though we didn’t decide right away, we were blown away by how kind and attentive the Wedgewood Weddings team was at every venue we visited. That evening, we received personalized follow-up messages from each venue, thanking us for coming and offering to answer any questions we might have. It wasn’t the typical impersonal emails—it felt like they genuinely cared about helping us find the right place for our big day. Their warmth made us feel valued, which stood out to us immediately.

After some thought, we knew that Lindsay Grove was the venue where we wanted to say, “I do.” When we reached out to the team to start the process, we received the same warmth and professionalism that initially won us over. From the very first conversation, it was clear that the Wedgewood Weddings team had everything under control. They walked us through every step, explaining the details clearly and patiently, so we felt confident from day one.

What really set them apart was their all-inclusive package. All we had to do was fill out a simple questionnaire and, with the help of their wedding planning binder (which was a lifesaver), we could check off each item on the list with ease. They handled everything: venue, catering, coordination, even the DJ. Knowing that all the essentials were taken care of meant we didn’t have to worry about finding and coordinating multiple vendors. It gave us the freedom to focus on the fun, personalized aspects of our wedding, like designing our decor, picking out our wedding attire, and choosing unique party favors for our guests. The Wedgewood Weddings team made planning feel like an exciting adventure rather than an overwhelming series of decisions.

On our wedding day, we faced our worst nightmare: It started pouring rain in the desert of Arizona. This was particularly distressing as half of our wedding event was planned to take place outdoors. I was devastated, envisioning all our carefully laid plans being ruined. In a state of distress, I reached out to the Wedgewood Wedding team, and to my relief, they instantly reassured me and comforted me. It felt like confiding in a close friend. They attentively listened to my concerns and provided the assurance that everything would still turn out amazing—and they didn’t disappoint.

Our wedding coordinators, Bailee and Arianne, were our guiding lights throughout the entire day. They ensured that every single aspect of the event ran as seamlessly as possible. Despite the wet weather, the team swiftly and efficiently transformed the grand hall into a breathtaking indoor ceremony space. The day unfolded flawlessly, and to our delight, many of our guests remarked that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Even though our original outdoor plans had to be scrapped, the Wedgewood Weddings team orchestrated a beautiful and memorable day for us. From the exquisite food to the heartfelt speeches, the team handled every detail impeccably, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our special day.

Looking back, we couldn’t be happier. The team at Wedgewood Weddings, especially Bailee and Arianne, truly saved the day. Despite the rain, our wedding was everything we hoped for and more. They even invited us back to take photos on a sunny day, allowing us to capture the outdoor moments we’d envisioned.
