As two nature enthusiasts, Earth Day couldn't be a more fitting occasion for Macie and William to celebrate their love. Their stunning Earth Day wedding at Stonebridge Manor was filled with sunny skies, lawn games, and tacos! The couple shared why they felt Stonebridge Manor was a fantastic backdrop for their big day:
We really wanted an outdoor garden space to celebrate Earth Day, and this venue definitely delivered!
Before the ceremony, the couple finished getting ready and relaxed with their wedding parties in the getting-ready rooms at Stonebridge Manor. They also shared a first touch for a special moment between just the two of them.
The couple incorporated plenty of fun and personal touches into their ceremony, including having flower grandmas walking down the aisle! The bridesmaids stunned in dusty blue gowns that complemented the springy feel perfectly. The beautiful floral arrangements of white hydrangeas, soft blue wildflowers, and eucalyptus from In Bloom tied the whole look together. Macie and William exchanged vows in front of the lush lawn and beautiful arbor in the Manor Courtyard. There was one person who was a bit nervous during the ceremony, and it wasn’t the bride or groom! The couple laughed:
Our best man realized he had to hold the rings and got concerned he was going to ruin the whole wedding by fumbling them! Luckily he nailed his responsibilities!
After the ceremony, the festivities continued with cocktail hour on the lawn and the stone bridge that the venue is named after. The couple offered a signature drink: the “Just Married” Moscow Mule, as well as fun lawn games for their guests.
In addition to the beautiful spring weather and stunning grounds, guests enjoyed delicious appetizers:
Macie and William said that their guests were wowed by Stonebridge Manor. Our guests kept telling us:
The venue was so beautiful, and the wedding was a blast!
We had someone say it would have won the 'Four Weddings' TV show!
I love the food!
You guys look amazing together!
Following the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed the beautiful Manor Courtyard plaza for the reception. The couple paired navy floor-length linens with gold charger plates and white napkins for an elegant look. In the center of the tables were gold vases with white hydrangeas and greenery surrounding them from In Bloom. A personal touch was the paper hearts with seeds tucked inside each napkin, courtesy of Macie and William’s thoughtful creativity.
As the sun faded, the romantic bistro lighting above the reception tables created a beautiful and romantic ambiance as the couple shared their first dance. In fact, they shared that if they could relive one moment from their big day, it would be:
Dancing together as a new couple! Our reception was such a blast.
Their sweetheart table was gorgeous, with the flowers that were re-purposed from their ceremony. An extra unique touch was their custom neon sign that spelled out their new last name! Their coordinator, Liberty, especially loved that they incorporated pictures of their beloved cat, Mitten, in their décor.
Guests enjoyed their delicious buffet meal, featuring panko parmesan crusted chicken with sherry cream, oven-roasted salmon with tarragon butter, and the crowd-pleasing prime rib carving station. After dinner, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived - the couple cutting into their cake from Piece of Cake Desserts, a tasty tiered cake with carrot cake, vanilla with lemon curd, almond, and chocolate with raspberry. However, the couple was so busy having a blast that they forgot to enjoy a piece themselves!
We still laugh because we never made it back to the sweetheart table to eat our cake! We just had the pieces that we fed to each other at the cutting ceremony.
The night continued with an abundance of dancing, creating an energetic atmosphere that kept everyone on their feet.
A fun touch was that the couple added a taco bar as their late-night snack! Their banquet captain Gerardo commented:
The taco bar was such a hit! I love when couples offer a late-night snack because it really keeps the party going and gives guests a second wind to dance and enjoy the night! Also, who doesn’t love tacos?
Congratulations, WIlliam and Macie! We are incredibly grateful for allowing us to make your wedding day a reality. They offered a final piece of advice for all the other couples preparing for their special day:
Make sure you enjoy the process and try to insert little pieces of yourselves, your relationship, and what is important to you in each aspect of your wedding day. When it all comes together on the wedding day, you end up getting glimpses of all the beautiful little pieces of yourselves, and it makes it so special. Just take all the planning one step at a time, and the whole day will unfold exactly how it should be. Also - eat extra cake at your tasting because you might not get any in the business of the big day, ha!
