Sharlene and Patty's wedding at the Officers' Club at the Presidio in San Francisco was a celebration of their love and commitment, set against the backdrop of a beautiful, crisp February day. The historic venue at the city's birthplace provided a stunning setting for the couple to exchange their vows and share their special day with family and friends.
From start to finish, the wedding was infused with personal touches that reflected Sharlene and Patty's unique personalities and their journey together. The couple's attention to detail and their desire to create a memorable experience for their guests was evident in every aspect of the day.
Join us as we take a closer look at the details that made Sharlene and Patty's wedding an incredible celebration of love, from the beautiful décor to the heartfelt moments shared between the newlyweds and their guests!
Sharlene and Patty began their special day by getting ready at the Inn at the Presidio, which is conveniently located next to the Officers' Club. The couple decided to share a first look before the ceremony, allowing them to enjoy a private moment together and capture photos around the picturesque grounds of the Officers' Club.
For their ceremony, Sharlene and Patty chose the cozy and historic Moraga Hall. To create a beautiful backdrop for the couple's exchange of vows, Angella Floral Arts adorned the stage with wood pedestals featuring large palm and monstera leaves, elegantly framing the couple as they said "I do."
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a lively cocktail hour where they mingled and indulged in a selection of appetizers and signature drinks. As part of the couple's Elite package, Sharlene and Patty chose an enticing array of appetizers:
To add a fun and personalized touch to the celebration, the couple also selected two signature drinks: a refreshing Moscow mule and a classic old-fashioned. These carefully curated offerings provided guests with a delightful variety of flavors and ensured that there was something to satisfy every palate during the cocktail hour. While guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, Patty and Sharlene took the opportunity to capture more beautiful photos together around the Officers' Club.
After cocktail hour, guests made their way upstairs to Ortega Hall, where the reception took place. The couple chose green tablecloths to complement the surrounding greenery of the Presidio Forest, paired with elegant ivory napkins, silver chargers, and rustic wooden cross-back chairs. The beautiful centerpieces by Angella Floral Arts, set atop rustic wood slabs, featured ivory flowers, lush greenery, and flameless candles provided by the couple, creating a romantic ambiance. In a nod to their beloved city, Sharlene and Patty named their guest tables after iconic San Francisco parks, such as The Presidio, McLaren Park, and Crane Cove Park.
The newlyweds made a fun and spirited grand entrance, kicking off the reception with infectious energy. Guests were then treated to an incredible plated meal, featuring Braised Beef Short Rib and Oven Roasted Salmon with Tarragon Butter Sauce, accompanied by Herb Roasted Red Potatoes.
For dessert, Mazzetti's Bakery provided a lovely (and tasty!) cake with a variety of flavors, including white cake with mango, carrot cake with cream cheese, and chocolate with strawberries. As a late-night treat, Sharlene and Patty surprised their guests with savory pork and vegetable lumpia from Turo Cafe Grill, served with a sweet chili dipping sauce.
Instead of having a dedicated sweetheart table, Patty and Sharlene chose to sit with their family members and friends throughout the reception, fostering a warm and intimate atmosphere. They spent the evening chatting with their loved ones, catching up on old times, and making new memories on the dance floor. The newlyweds savored every moment of their special day, from the delicious food to the laughter and joy that filled the room.
As the celebration drew to a close, it was clear that Sharlene and Patty's wedding had been a true reflection of their love story. The couple's infectious happiness and the outpouring of support from their family and friends made for a day to remember.
Congratulations, Patty and Sharlene! It was an absolute pleasure to plan your amazing San Francisco wedding with you. We wish you a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness together!
