Sequoia Mansion by Wedgewood Weddings is a charming Victorian estate that'll blow you away with its recent renovations! Just outside of Sacramento, this Placerville wedding venue is ideal for both destination weddings and local Sac-Town couples. Located just half a mile from historic Downtown Placerville, you'll find plenty of shops, antiques, and restaurants. You can even do a Gold Rush scavenger hunt in downtown Placerville to celebrate the city's rich history.

Originally built in the 1850s by Gold Rush Pioneer Colonel Frederick A. Bee, who later started The Pony Express in California and the Bee Telegraph Company, this Victorian mansion was enlarged in 1889 to be a 16-room estate. Today it continues its legacy, filled with history and charm.

Throughout the mansion, you'll find a blend of modern enhancements and original Victorian architecture. The exterior captivates with a multi-gabled roof, wraparound porch, and stained glass windows. Upstairs, the spacious get-ready rooms offer a relaxing space to spend time with your VIPs.
